St Gilles Base

A town of Roman Art, which is an important pilgrimage site for Saint-Jacques de Compostelle and Saint-Pierre de Rome. Saint- Gilles is situated alongside the Camargue, which is a unique area. This area is fascinating and attractive for its originality. It enjoys the same climate as Provence and Languedoc however the landscape including the flora, the fauna and especially the bird life is totally different.

There are toilets and showers at the base. There is open-air parking available free of charge. Enclosed parking without surveillance costs €28 per week and there is also a covered and enclosed garage at a cost of €41 per week.

Transfers and Groceries

The base can arrange transfers from your arrival point to the base and can also do your food and drink shopping to stock up your boat before you arrive. A link to the order forms will be sent following your final payment for the boating holiday.

Base Opening Hours

Monday to Saturday: 8.30 to 12.30 and 14:00 to 18:00.
The base is closed on Sunday.

For clients taking a one-way cruise there is the possibility of car transfer from the departure base to the arrival base at a cost of €95.

Late Arrivals

Boats are available between 16:00 and 18:00. If you are going to arrive late, please advise us by phone. You can find all shops and services at St. Gilles. The market is open on Thursday and Sunday mornings.
