Cruise past superb chateaux On leaving Hesse in France, navigate towards Luxembourg and Germany on the Moselle and the Sarre. Via Nancy, the elegant and historic centre of Lorraine, and Metz, the capital of Alsace, cruise towards the 'Schengener Eck', the land of the 3 Frontiers and high point of European history.

The meandering Moselle leads you through Luxembourg to Trier and typical villages of the area such as Renich. The hills are home to vineyards of excellent quality. From Konz to Sarrebrucken, follow the magnificent routealong the Sarre. Return to Hesse via the peaceful Canal des Houllieres.
